I always wished I could visit Japan. I don't think it will be possible now, but I can still keep learning about it. It's a beautiful country with so many wonderful cultural traditions.

Please enjoy your weekend!

Take care,
ErinErinBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09799435961212113451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101980281470446262.post-42733823755499042212016-09-24T11:58:42.190+09:002016-09-24T11:58:42.190+09:00ErinBear: You sound very Japanese (laugh)!ErinBear: You sound very Japanese (laugh)!Hiroyukihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07075672590298671343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101980281470446262.post-89769591575355076872016-09-24T11:47:28.169+09:002016-09-24T11:47:28.169+09:00Dear Hiroyuki,

They taste good with steamed rice and tofu. I also like to make rice porridge with lots of different mushrooms - that may sound very odd, but it has a very good flavor. I also add a nice piece of konbu when I cook the porridge, along with the soaking liquid from the dried shiitake mushrooms. I use my rice cooker to make it.

Take care,
Erin from CaliforniaErinBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09799435961212113451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101980281470446262.post-15413908513106684682016-09-24T06:52:52.607+09:002016-09-24T06:52:52.607+09:00ErinBear:

I have not heard of this, and it sounds very good.

Thank you again for your blog!

Take care,
Erin from CaliforniaErinBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09799435961212113451noreply@blogger.com
