Strange...Snowy grapefruit trees - never seen those. Strange, we had some heavy snowfall just two weeks ago. Never happened before at this time of the year during my lifetime. It was so much snow I lost some trees: one big cypress tree broke midway in two halves and one クサギ属 Clerodendrum, who was still blossoming, broke in two parts (left part still strong) too. So sad. The traffic was a huge mess. Just a few days before snowfall we enjoyed lovely 20 C degrees. The trees had still fully green leaves and the autumn color change did not happen yet. Now the color change moved quickly on. I picked Kiwi fruits in the snow (8 kg by the way) and cooked lots of delicious jam.<br />We were joking about a really green christmas. Now temperatures dropped a bit so the mulled wine at christmas market will be really tasty again, but I guess we will have christmas at 10-15 degree Celsius.
