Kounago-and-Sweet Potato Kakiage/小女子とサツマイモのかき揚げ

As I said previously, kounago refers to young ikanago (Ammodytes personatus Girard). Today, I found this kakiage sold for 80 yen per piece at the local supermarket I frequent, and I just had to buy four pieces for my family. The combination of kounago and sweet potato sounded so appetizing to me!
前に言ったように、小女子とはイカナゴの幼魚のことです。今日、私がよく行く地元のスーパーで一つ80円で売っていたので、家族用に４つ買ってしまいました。小女子とサツマイモの組み合わせはとても美味そうに思えたので。
