Wow, I want to go there! Firstly for the art secondly for the food. What is dandelion coffee?
ReplyDeleteokasan: I added a photo of the iced dandelion coffee. I think it's a drink made by brewing roasted dandelion roots. It was bitter, but it didn't taste like coffee.
ReplyDeleteI will make more trips there before it ends in mid-September.
Hiroyuki: A feast fit for a king!! Wow... I'd love to have a restaurant here offer this kind of japanese-style buffet.
ReplyDeleteThe buffets here have pretty much only Western dishes, with some Chinese dish/soup, and some sashimi and sushi. I guess it's because Australia doesn't have much of a cuisine of its own, so it just borrows from the cultures that have immigrated here.
By the way, do Japanese-style buffets in Japan not have desserts? Like dango or zenzai, etc.?
Anonymous: Yes, they do! This particular buffet is an exception. Most buffets in Japan do offer both Japanese- and Western-style desserts.
