The portions do look small. I counted only a few noodles in that pasta dish. In our canteen you get huge piles of pasta and tomato sauce (meat, vegetables depends) for just 4 Euros. I always tell the cook to stop piling pasta or fries, rice, potatoes on my dish. Carbs are cheap. I am going to fly to Sichuan soon to visit my son. I will eat lots of local noodle dishes, so happy. Hope you are fine.

Kiki: One reason for the small portions is, I think, that the my dauther's university is a women's university. As you may know, Japanese people, especially young women, are not big eaters.
