続き。

I know most of the artworks shown below have already been shown before in my blog, but anyway, here they are again because I think they are worth seeing again.
下記の作品の大半はすでにこのブログで載せたものですが、とにかく、また載せます。再度見る価値があると思います。

Katakuri (dogtooth violet):
カタクリ:


The term katakuri-ko (lit. katakuri flour or powder) comes from this plant. Needless to say, katakuri-ko is now mostly made from potatoes, not from katakuri roots.
片栗粉という言葉はこの植物に由来します。言うまでもなく、片栗粉は今では多くはカタクリの根ではなくジャガイモからできています。

One of the most famous artworks in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field.
越後妻有大地芸術祭の里で最も有名な作品の一つです。

I must say you are a very shrewd observer!
