Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival), that is, Girls' Day, falls on March 3 every year. We had go-moku (five-item) zushi (< sushi) and clear clam soup for supper tonight, as we usually do on this day.
ひな祭りは毎年、３月３日です。今日の夕飯は、例年通り、五目寿司と、はまぐりのお吸い物です。
One BIG difference: My daughter, now 13, is no longer interested in Hina Dolls.
大きな違いが一つ： 13歳の娘はもう雛人形に興味がありません。
