Sorry for the Long Absence/ごぶさたしてます

I can't believe that I haven't updated this blog for more than one month! For one thing, I'm no longer the main cook in the house, and for another, my digital camera broke! I had to buy a new camera, and just when I was updating this blog, I came down with a cold! Anyway, let me update this blog with some photos of my rented farm.

Rented farm? Is this like a public garden where folks can rent a patch to grow their own vegetables?

PS - great to have you back! What kind of camera did you get?

Welcome back, Hiroyuki! I have been checking your blog every few days, hoping you had more yummy things to share! Glad to hear from you.

Nancy Heller: Like I said before, I rent this farm from a kind lady. The type of vegetable garden you mentioned is popular in suburban areas, I suppose, but not in rural areas like mine, where many people have their own farm.

The camera I got is this: FINEPIX J15fd by Fuji Film. I got it for 12,800 yen.

I usually buy such products from online sources, but this time, I got it at the nearby "home center".

pink: I check your blog on a daily basis, watching you make yummy things!
As for matcha sweets I was planning to make, inspired by your matcha cake..., well, I want to make daifuku dusted with matcha, but I haven't got round to making it.

Hiroyuki, I look forward to seeing you post about daifuku. I would love to see a homemade recipe in action. But no rush, whenever you get around to it. :)
