Strawberries/

I got some strawberries from a neighbor. I'm glad because we can get fewer and fewer strawberries from our small vegetable garden.

These are the plants that my son and I grow in our very small vegetable garden. Some are in planter containers, while the others in a square foot gardening (SFG) box.

I love cold places and fruits grown there. My sister gave me a Strawberry Plant last year and it has spread all over my front garden. But we do not have cold winters here in Kerala, India. I still had two small Strawberries in the height of summer in April when the Temperature is near 40 degrees..!!

This neighbor kindly gave me a pesticide for killing slugs that ate our precious strawberries!
